Rajshahi City Corporation (RCC) has been planning to bring its all operation and administration related information under online for the
sake of infusing dynamism.
Mosaddeque Hossain Bulbul, Mayor of RCC, revealed this when a five-member delegation of Rajshahi Christian Sandcity Friendship
Committee called on him at his city bhaban office here yesterday(Wednesday) afternoon.
“We have no scope to remain lag behind in the era of information and technology,” Mayor Bulbul said.
The city corporation is going to expand the activities of ICT aims at bringing dynamism in its service-delivery process through replacing
the existing manual activities into digital system in phases.
He also put emphasis on enhancing international connectivity, transforming all the RCC’s activities into database and displaying
information board at various points to make the city informationpublic.
Mayor Bulbul said various need-oriented steps were adopted to make the city activities expedited and thereby the public services were
expanded significantly. “We have to enhance electronic connectivity with various organizations
both home and abroad for intensifying the international relation,” he stressed.
