Dhaka – The Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Court of Dhaka on Monday deferred the date for submission of the investigation report in the case filed for plotting to kill Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s son and her Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Adviser Sajeeb Wazed Joy after abduction in the USA.Magistrate Sarafuzzaman Ansari of the court fixed January 4 of 2018 for the submission of the report as the Investigation Officer of the case failed to submit the report yesterday.
Earlier on August 4, 2015, Inspector Fazlur Rahman of the Detective Branch filed the case with Paltan Model Police Station accusing several persons, including veteran journalist Shafik Rehman and Amar Desh acting editor Mahmudur Rahman.
