Dhaka – A court of Dhaka on Monday deferred the date for submission of the probe report in the case filed in connection with the murder of Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Mizanur Ranman Talukder.Magistrate Ahsan Habib of the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (CMM) Court of Dhaka set January 3, 2018, as Sirajul Islam, Inspector of Detective Branch of Dhaka Metropolitan Police, failed to submit the report as per the deadline on Monday.Earlier, on June 22, the court ordered police to submit the probe report on July 30. On June 21, the Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) of Savar Highway Circle was killed by unidentified assailants hours after he left his Uttara residence of the city to perform his official work at Kaliakoir in Gazipur. – Special Correspondent
