Rajshahi, Dec 25 – A committee has been formed with Pro-vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Ananda Kumar Saha as its head for reviewing the consistency of running evening courses at Rajshahi University.The decision came up at the 251th of Academic Council Meeting, University Public Relation Administrator Professor Dr. Provash Kumar Kormokar said on Wednesday.
The committee consists of 11 members with deans of the faculties and 2 members nominated by the Vice-chancellor.
In next meeting of Academic Council the review report over the consistency of running evening courses will be presented and decision will be taken, he said.
Presided over by the Vic-chancellor Professor M Abdus Sobhan, the meeting gave PHD Degrees to 47 and M.Phil Degrees to 12 fellows
Besides the problem concerning the codes of several departments in applying to the job sector was solved giving them a specific code. – RU Correspondent
