Workshop on ‘Review and Modification of University Rules, Regulations and Ordinances for Good Governances’ organised by Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Jahangirnagar University (JU), held here on the campus Wednesday.JU Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Farzana Islam inaugurated the workshop as chief guest at the Senate Hall at about 10.30 am.
While inaugurating, Dr. Farzana said, ‘It is possible to establish good governance through recruiting eligible persons in workplace’.
‘This workshop will help to increase efficiency of both university teachers and officials’,she wishes.
Among others, Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Abul Hossain, Treasurer Prof. Dr. Abul Khair and Registrar Abu Bakr Siddique spoke at the programme as special guests while the director of IQAC and Teacher In-charge of JU Central Library Prof. Dr. Ajit Kumar Majumder conducted it.
Teachers and officials of different departments and institutes took part in the workshop. – RU Correspondent
