Dhaka – Four people were killed and four others injured in separate road accidents in Barisal and Lakshmipur district today Road accidents kill four in two districts.In Barisal, two women were killed and four others injured as a truck collided head-on with a human hauler in Bakultala area under Babuganj upazila of the district this noon, said Anwar Hossain, officer-in-charge of Bimanbandar Thana.The victims are Kanchan Bala, 68, and Shahanaj Begum, 55. The injured were sent to Sher-e-Bangla Medical College Hospital.In Lakshmipur, two Jubo League activists were killed as their motorcycle hit a roadside tree at Farashganj village in Sadar upazila last night.The deceased are M Sharif Uddin, 28, and Emran Hossain Juwel, 16.residents of Kusakhali union of the upazila.BSS
