Dhaka – The ringleader of a robber gang was killed by rivals at Bazra village of Daudkandi upazila in Cumilla early Thursday.The deceased was identified as Islam, 35, son of Raju Miah of the village.
Officer-in-charge of Daudkandi Model Police Station Md Mizanur Rahman said a group of robbers attacked Islam around 1:30am near his house over previous enmity.
Later, locals sent him to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) in the capital where doctors declared him dead.Islam was accused in at least 10 cases filed with different police stations, the OC said.UNB
