Dhaka – A suspected ringleader of a robber gang was shot dead ‘in a clash with his gang members’ at Churamoni in Banshkhali upazila in Chittagong early Sunday.On information that a gang of robbers were exchanging gunfire among themselves, police went to the spot and recovered the bullet-hit body of Abdur Rahman, 50, of Puichhari village, said Alamgir Hossain, officer-in-charge of Banshkhali Police Station.Police also recovered one gun, six rounds of cartridges, five bullet shells and five sharp weapons from the spot.The deceased was wanted in several cases, said the OC.UNB news agency
