A day-long seminar on “Role of youth on development of United Nation” with the initiative of United Nations Youth and Student Association of Bangladesh (UNYSAB) Rajshahi University unit held in two session at the dean’s complex of the university on Saturday at 9.00am.UNISAB president Md. Mamun Mia presided over the program.
Feature writer of Daily Prothom Alo and Founding Chairman of Dhrupody Poribar Dr. Mahiuddin, Researcher of UNDP Bangladesh Siddarth Goswami, Out-reach officer of UNFPA Bangladesh Community Habbibur Rahman were present there as Resource persons.
Speakers in 1st session of the program discussed over role of youth on present global issue and Social development.
Addressing as Chief Guest in 2nd session of the event Student Advisor consulted the participators to lead their lives with the ideology of liberation War of 1971, he also discussed over contribution RU teachers and student on independence of Bangladesh.
Later, president of this association declared newly elected committee.
Sub-Editor of South Asian Journal Sayeed Mofiz Kamal and many members of divisional unit of this association were present there among others.
