Rajshahi, 18 Dec – The department of Applied Chemistry and Chemical Engineering (ACCE) of Rajshahi University (RU) will celebrate its golden jubilee and alumni reunion on December 24 with two days long program. Professor Dr Dil Afroz Begum, chairman of ACCE dept and convener of the program confirmed the matter to reporters on Monday.Marking the day, they chalked out various programs including inauguration session, colorful rally, discussion meeting, cultural function and reminiscence.
RU vice chancellor Prof Dr M Abdus Sobhan and Pro vice chancellor Prof Dr Ananda Kumar Saha have consented to present a chief guest and special guest respectively while chairman of dept Professor Dr Dil Afroz Begum will be in the chair.
Besides, Prof Dr Ranjit Kumar Biswas will make the address of welcome while the Dean of Social Science Faculty Prof Faizur Rahman and Prof Dr Fakrul Islam will be present as special guests at the programme. – RU Correspondent
