Rajshahi, Feb 13 – The Rajshahi University authority has banned externals to enter the university campus on Valentine’s Day and instructed all to leave campus before 6.00 pm on Saturday. Rajshahi University proctor professor Lutfor Rahman on Saturday afternoon confirmed this to journalists.
Professor Lutfor Rahman said the campus has taken tight security measures on the occasion of Valentine’s Day. All sorts of programs, gatherings and stalls have been prohibited on campus on that day.
Extra police will be deployed at important points in the campus on Valentine’s Day. Externals will not be allowed. Students will be allowed to enter the campus on production of their own identity cards, he added. – RU Correspondent
