On charge of making defamatory comment to the Law Minister Anisul Haque a teacher of Rajshahi University has been suspended.
The suspended teacher is Sibly Islam, lecturer of the Law department of the university.The decision came up with an urgent meeting of University syndicate on Monday evening.
Being anonymous a member syndicate informed that, a probe committee of 3 members has been formed and they asked to submit the report within 15 days regarding the charge.
Few days ago, Sibly Islam delivered a defamatory post on Facebook criticizing the Law Minister.
Over the matter Law Ministry sent a letter to the university bringing a charge against the Sibly Islam.
Mentionable, Sibly Islam is yet to be permanently appointed to his department.
