World Philosophy Day has been observed at Rajshahi University (RU) on Saturday.Philosophy department of the University organized the program.
To mark this day they brought out a procession that began from in front of the department terminated at university senate building after parading main streets of the campus.
Later, a seminar also held at the senate building of the university at 10.00am
Chairman of the department Professor Dr. Akther ali presided over the function while Tasnim Nadira Ridhar moderated it
VC Professor Dr. Muhammad Mizanuddin graced the function as Chief Guest.
Pro-VC Professor Dr. Chowdhury Sarwar, Renowned Folk-literature Professor Hasan Azzizul Haque and Professor Shazahan were present among others.
Emeritus Dr. Arun Khumar Bosuk delivered key speech on the seminar.
