Progressive Students Alliance (PSA) of Rajshahi University (RU) unit submitted a Memorandum to the Vice-Chancellor of the University protesting the cancellation of chance of participating for 2nd time in the admission test of the university.Earlier, they took out a procession at the campus that paraded main streets of its on Tuesday at 12.00pm.
Their demands includes continuation the 2nd time chance of participating in the admission test of the university, decreasing admission fee for first year students, and cancelling the increased fee.
It is also mentioned in the memorandum that the decision for admission test is not an easily acceptable to the students. Most of the students of our country are poor where ensuring a seat in the public university is so tough for them.
President of Student Union RU unit Minhazul Abedin, President of Student Federation of RU unit Kingsuk Kingjol, President of Socialist Student Front RU unit Alamgir Hossain Shujon and President of Biplobi Chhatra moitri RU unit Prodip Mardi and others leaders and activities were present there.
