Dhaka – Police recovered one kg gunpowder and arrested six youths in this connection from Rampura in the cit on Monday night.Acting on a tip-off, a special team of Rampura police station conducted a raid at a under-construction building at Ulon Road of West Rampura at around 11:30 pm.
Searching the 3rd floor of the under-construction building, the police arrested six youths–Zabir,23, Shafique, 22, Rony, 24, Rumman, 22, Ataur, 28, and Quader, 24, said Sub-Inspector Kamrul Islam of the police station.
The arrestees are members of Jamaat -shibir as the police team also recovered some Islamic books, membership and ‘dawati’ books of Jamaat-shibir from thier possssions, SI Kamrul Islam added.
