The Rajshahi University Cultural Alliance (RUCA) protested the life threat to Prominent Writer and Former Professor of Philosophy department of the University, Hasan Azzizul Haque from an unknown number.
They raised their voice regarding this matter in a human chain that was formed in front of university central library at 11.00am
Moderated by Professor Moloy Bhowmik, the function was addressed by renowned film maker Nasir Uddin Yousuf, President of Rajshahi University Teachers Association (RUTA) Professor Ananda Kumar Shaha, Imran Hossain of Acconting and Information Management department, S.M Abu Bakar of Philosophy, General Secretary of Rajshahi Cultural Alliance Jote Dilip Kumar Ghosh, Assistant Secretary of Ghatak Dalal Nirmul Committee Kamruzzaman, RUCA president Sohel Rana, General Secretary Abu Bakar Siddique and Udichi President Golam Sarwar.
Speakers said free thinkers of the nation are now in the face of life threat in everywhere of the country, it is the conspiracy against the country.

They also demanded taking proper steps against those parties who are connected with militant power.
