Pabna, Feb 16 (UNB) – A Russian citizen died from electrocution at Rooppur Nuclear Power Plant site in Ishwardi uapzila here on Saturday morning.
The deceased was identified as Zeleski Bhatzism, 34, an installer of ‘Tret Roshim’ farm. He used to live on the 14th floor of 3 no building at Green City in the project area.
Neighbours spotted his body around 7:45 am and informed police.
Later, a team of police and fire fighters went to the spot and recovered the body from his bathroom, said Bahauddin Faruqi, officer-in-charge of Ishwardi Police Station.
He might have got electrocuted while trying to repair the geyser in the bathroom, said the OC.
