Dhaka University on Friday conferred “Firoza Begum Memorial Gold Medal” on eminent singer Sabina Yasmin.
Vice-Chancellor Professor AAMS Arefin Siddique handed over the award to Sabina Yasmin at a function at Nabab Nawab Ali Chowdhury Senate Bhaban of the university.
The function was organised by the university’s “Firoza Begum Memorial Gold Medal Trust Fund” marking the 90th birth anniversary of the late renowned singer of Firoza Begum.
