Renowned singer Sabina Yasmin will perform at a solo musical show on Bangladesh Television in upcoming Eid-ul-Azha.

The programme titled ‘Chirokaler Sabina’, which features 10 songs by the singer, will be aired on BTV on the second day of Eid. Director General of BTV SM Haroon-or-Rashid has coordinated the programme, recording of which was done on August 20. The programme has been produced by Noor Alam Ranju.

The musical show will feature some of Sabina’s most popular songs including Ekti Bangladesh, Ami Rajanigandha Phul-er Moto, Ore Pardeshi, Ektush Khani Dekho, Amar Bhanga Ghorer Bhanga Chala and others.

Sabina Yasmin has recorded more than 10,000 songs and lent her voice to 1,500 playback songs. Sabina was awarded with Shadhinata Padak in 1996 and Ekushey Padak in 1984 for her contribution to music. She is also a 13 times recipient of National Film Awards in the Best Playback Singer category.
