Lalon singers Salma and Beauty have come together to record a Lalon score for the first time. The song “Kori Mana Kam Chare Naa Modone” will be video recorded on April 7 at BTV’s studio. The song has been prepared for presenting on BTV’s regular show “Poriborton.” This episode containing the song will be aired on April 16 at 10pm. The song has been modernised by Arefin Rumi.
Salma is aware that the song is a popular one by Lalon. The song is also very difficult according to her. She has sang it in the same way she has been taught by Shafi Mondol. Though Salma and Beauty have shared concert stages before, this will be their first joint recording.
Beauty and Salma both are products of reality show “Close Up One”. Beauty was runner up of the 2005 season while Salma was the champion of the music contest in 2006.
