SAU admission test held peacefully

Fresher’s admission test for admission into Level-1, Semester-1 (2015-intake) B.Sc.Ag.(Hons), BBA (Agribusiness), B.Sc. Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry of Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University (SAU), Dhaka was held peacefully on November 14 Saturday. A total of 21800 candidates took part in the admission test against 500 seats under three faculties. Candidates for admission will be selected in order of merit. To maintaining transparency no oral examination is taken after the written test at SAU. The waiting list is also prepared as per merit. Quotas for freedom fighter and other are being followed as per the government rules.In fact, admission test is such an event where everyone from top to bottom works together under the leadership of the Vice Chancellor of the university who by dint of his post acts as the Chairman of the Central Admission Committee. A number of sub-committees are formed to perform tasks of different segments.
The Vice Chancellor of SAU Prof. Md. Shadat Ulla takes keen interest in modernising the admission test process. Almost all the communications are being carried out using digital facilities. The VC has succeeded in adding new digital gadgets to the facility for smooth conduct of the admission test.
Meanwhile the credit for successfully holding this year’s admission test goes to the Vice Chancellor, all the faculties, officers, staff and workers of SAU.
