A school teacher was reportedly killed by unknown miscreants at Rudrabaria village in Dhunat upazila early Monday.
The deceased was identified as Jahidul Islam, 33, son of Pirhati Government Primary School and son of Azam, a resident of the same village.Dhunat Police Station officer-in-charge of Ziaur Rahman said a gang of miscreants entered Jahidul’s house in the area while the family members were sleeping around 1:30 am.Later, they killed Jahidul by slitting his throat and hurriedly left the scene.Informed, police recovered the body and sent it to Bogra Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital for autopsy.Police also arrested Jahidul’s wife Sima Khatun on suspicion of her involvement in the killing, the OC added. -UNB, Bogra
