A daylong seminar to review the progress of implementation of present
government’s Vision 2021 in greater Faridpur consisting of five
districts was held here on Sunday.
The seminar organised by Dhaka divisional commissioner with the
financial support of Bangladesh Computer Council (BCC).
Deputy Commissioner Mainuddin Ahmed inaugurated the seminar as the
chief guest and Police Super Zamil Hassan, Pourasabha Mayor Sheikh
Mahatab Ali Methu and Awami League Advisory Council member SM
Nurunnabi were present as the special guests while ADC (Education and
ICT) Mina Masuduzzaman presided over the function.
In the seminar, Professor Rezvi Zaman of Rajendra College presented
the keynote paper on the progress of E-services under Access to
Information (A2I) programme in different sectors in Faridpur, Rajbari,
Gopalganj, Madaripur and Shariatpur districts.
He said the present government has brought a revolutionary change in
information technology introducing E-services at the doorsteps of the
