Shajal and Aparna will appear together in a new TV play titled “Heroine.”Directed by Shibli, the plot centres on a movie actress who, swept away by fame, forgets her roots and neglects her husband.
On the TV play and her role, Aparna remarked, “I had to dress elaborately for this role, and spend hours on my makeup,” Her co-star Shajal commented, “I play a young man from the village who is a big fan of this new, emerging heroine. So much so that he travels to the city just to meet her, only to find that she is known to him.”
Shooting for the gripping play is in full swing, and will air on a private TV channel during Eid ul Azha festivals.
