Celebrated Bangladeshi cricketer Shakib Al Hasan made history in the world cricket as he emerged as the number one all rounder in all the three formats of cricket — Test, ODI and T20.
Shakib is the first cricketer who has achieved such feat in the cricket history.
According to ICC player world ranking in ODI cricket published recently, Shakib clinched the top slot securing 403 points, followed by Mohammad Hafeez of Pakistan (397) and AD Mathews of Sri Lanka (395).In the ICC Test ranking, Shakib Al Hasan topped the list securing 398 points, followed by VD Philander of South Africa (341) and R Ashwin of India (318).
In the ICC T20 ranking, Shakib top the list making 377 points, followed by Mohammad Hafeez (363) and Shahid Afridi of Pakistan (326).
Bangladesh vice-captain Shakib Al Hasan is now in Australia to play in the Big Bash League.
In the ICC Women’s T20 ranking, Bangladesh skipper Salma Khatun also emerged as number one all rounder in the world securing 291 points, followed by HASD Siriwardene of Sri Lankan (287) and IMHC Joyce of Ireland (284). – Agencies
