Dhaka – Police recovered the hanging body of Nakla Upazila chairman from his residence at Kursha in Nakla Upazila headquarters here on Friday.The deceased was identified as Mahbub Ali alias Manir, 65, a former joint convener of district unit BNP.Informed by locals, police recovered Manir’s body, hanging from the ceiling fan of his house around 8 am, said Khan Abdul Halim, officer-in-charge of Nakla Police Station.Police suspected that Manir might have committed suicide.Manir used to live at the house with his second wife, the OC added.UNB news agency
