Slain BD-American Nazma’s body arrives Sunday

Dhaka: The body of Nazma Khanam, a Bangladeshi-American who was stabbed to death by a miscreant in Jamaica, Queens is expected to reach here on Sunday morning.
A flight carrying the body left the John F. Kennedy International Airport, New York on Friday night and is expected to arrive at 8:40am on Sunday, Bangladesh Consul General in New York Shameem Ahsan told UNB on Saturday. UNB News Agency Reported.
Nazma’s son Nazmul Alam Khan will receive her body at the airport, he said.
Nazma’s husband Shamsul Alam and their son Naimul Alam Khan also left JFK, New York on the same day.
Meanwhile, New York police released a surveillance video of the ‘person of interest’ in the killing of Nazma Khanam. She was hacked to death in Jamaica, Queens on Wednesday night.
Authorities are also offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person who stabbed the Bangladeshi woman.
