Police recovered the slaughtered body of a police informant from near a slum of Shah Ali thana area on Saturday morning.
The deceased was identified as Md Jasim, 35, son of Hanif Hawlader. He was residing at Kingshok Balurmath (Sand field) slum of Mirpur section.Hailed from Sirajdikhan in Munshigonj district, Jasim was working as a informer of police and RAB, police sources said.
Being informed, a team of Shahbagh thana police went to the spot and recovered the body from a road, in front of the slum, at around 7:30 am, said duty officer of the police station Sub-inspector Abdur Rashid Sarder.
