Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) in separate drives seized a huge quantity of smuggled goods and drugs from different frontier areas of the district last night.The goods are— cumin seed, still goods, shares, three piece, spices, imitation ornaments, cosmetics and different kinds of machinery parts worth about Taka 25.24 lakh, the BGB sources said.Besides, a team of the BGB-3 also recovered different types of sex stimulating tablets, 199 bottles of phensidyl and five bottles of wine during the drives.
Later, seized goods were deposited to Hili customs office, the sources added. -BSS, Joypurhat
