Dhaka – A 70-year-old man was killed allegedly by his son at Banshbaria village in Keshabpur upazila in Jessore on Sunday.SM Anwar Hossain, officer in-charge of Keshabpur Police Station, said Abdus Salam, 32, had a brawl with his father Nawab Ali in the morning in a field adjacent to their house.At one stage, Salam hit his father with a heavy stick in his head, leaving him critically injured.Nawab later died on the way to hospital.
