Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury on Tuesday urged all to work together for the advancement of women education through coordinated plans. She made the call while addressing a function at a local school in Pirganj upazila of Rangpur district. Mentioning that the country is progressing in all indicators of development, including education and health, the Speaker said Bangladesh will achieve the status of middle income country through implementation of Vision-2021. Observing that gender equality has been ensured in the country’s education system, she said there are scopes for women to contribute to development activities as they are now interested in higher education.
