A fire broke out at a steel factory at Sher Shah Banglabazar in the port city early Tuesday.Fire service officials said the fire took place at the ‘electroplating’ section of KCL Steel and Accessories Ltd. around 4am.On information, two firefighting units rushed to the spot and doused the flame after about 45 minutes frantic efforts, said Fakhruddin, station officer of Bayezid Fire Station.The losses from the fire were primarily estimated at Tk 10 lakh. -UNB, Dhaka
