Police arrested two bankers on Tuesday in a case filed for decamping with about Tk 5 crore from Khatunganj branch of Bangladesh Commerce Bank.The arrestees were identified as the branch’s second officer Moinuddin and cashier Monirul Islam.The case was filed on Monday against four people, including the two bankers, by the bank’s Khatunganj branch manager Kazi Md Abul Kashem in connection with irregular money transfers from some of the bank accounts that were first noticed on Sunday, said officer-in-charge of Kotwali Police Station Jasim Uddin. -UNB, Chittagong
