Dhaka – The government has put on hold the effectiveness of sections 1.2 and 2.8 of the Government Primary School Teacher Transfer Instructions-2015 until further notice to stop lobbying in the transfer process.
The Primary and Mass Education Ministry issued an office order on Tuesday in this regard.
According to the office order, the transfer within the same upazila/thana, inter-school, inter-upazila, inter-district, inter-city and inter-division has to be done from within the jurisdiction and the follow-up order of the transfer will have to be communicated to the ministry within seven days.
It also said officials concerned will be held responsible for any violation of the order and in such cases, punitive actions will be taken against them. -UNB
