Some good initiatives have been taken by the incumbent government. One of the best initiatives is no admission test in grade. We had seen all guardians carrying their wards in the so called coaching centres for getting admission to grade one. Students had to memorise many things from outside their curriculum and it was undoubtedly a huge burden for them and it was not a healthy development for them.But this scenario we find for admission test to grade three. It is seen that many students of grade two along with their guardian in the coaching centres during their school time. They are at the coaching centres instead of taking class in their concerned schools. Even many grade one students are taking class in coaching centres for two years for getting chance in government schools in Rajshahi. Not very long ago, I was going to Laxmipur to visit my doctor boarding an auto along with two guardians and their kids. They were going to a coaching cenres for their kids. One of the guardian said, the two kids admitted to the same kindergarden but they are going to school, we are just paying the tuition fees every month only.
This is not the scenario for the district of Rajshahi only but other district also. This not only creates huge pressure and lead to their mental stress. This also hinders their smooth development. Many guardian waste their valuable time and money. At this stage no admission test should be needed for the kids.
I would like to request to concerned authority to take necessary steps to stop admission test for grade three across the country for the betterment of the kids and the country as well.
