A schoolteacher was found dead inside the office room of a school where he used to work as a part-timer in Puran Munsefi residential area of the district town on Saturday.The deceased was identified as Swapan Mia, 25, son of Torab Mia of Mashajan village.A part-time teacher of Presidency School and College, Swapan Mia was also a master’s student of Brindaban Government College.Nazim Uddin, officer-in-charge of Sadar Police Station, said the incident came to light on Saturday morning when the teachers and employees of the school opened the office room of the school and found the body of Swapan lying on the floor of the room.A red cloth was tied up around his neck, said police.Later police recovered the body and sent it to sadar hospital morgue.Police suspected that miscreants might have strangulated him to death sometime in the night. -UNB, Habiganj
