Benapole – Police arrested an alleged terrorist along with 25 hand bombs, arms and bullets from a student mess house adjacent to MM College here on Sunday night.
Tipped off, a police team, led by sub-inspector Monjurul Islam, raided the mess house and arrested Manik Mondol, son of Shyam Mondaol of Soshthitola area, said Elias Hossain, officer-in-charge of Kotwali Police Station.
Police also recovered 25 hand bombs, one pistol with two bullets, two machetes and bomb-making substances from his possession.
A case was filed. -UNB
