Benapole – Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) recovered 1,256 bottles of Indian Phensidyl syrup from Putkhali border point here on Monday morning.
Acting on secret information, BGB members conducted a drive there and seized 25 cartons of the contraband drug, said Lt Col Arifur Rahman, commanding officer of BGB-21 battalion.
He said there was no arrest as the smugglers fled the scene sensing presence of the BGB men. -UNB
