Dhaka, Apr 22 – Three people, including a woman, were killed in separate lightning strikes in Sandwip upazila and Fatikchhari upazila in Bangladesh’s coastal district of Chittagong on Saturday morning.In Sandwip, M Didar, 36, son of Abdul Baten, and Sanaullah, 30, son of Nizamuddin, residents of Kalapaniya in the upazila, were struck by a thunderbolt while bringing their cattle home around 11: 15am and died on the spot.
In Fatikchhari, Hoor Banu, 35, wife of Abdur Razzak of Amtali village, was killed by a lightning strike while working at the yard of her house around 11: 20 am.
