Tiger Shroff’s Rambo remake gets release date

It was about two years ago when Siddharth Anand announced the remake of Hollywood classic Rambo at the 70th Cannes Film Festival. While the original starred Sylvester Stallone in the lead, Tiger Shroff was confirmed as the male lead for its Hindi remake. The Rambo Hindi remake will be hitting the screens next year on October 2, 2020.
In his recent interview, the director confirmed that the film will hit the floors in January next year. He revealed he will start the project soon after he completes his current film with Tiger and Hrithik Roshan. We hear that Tiger will start prepping up for Rambo around November this year. They will be shooting both in India and abroad for which the recce will begin soon.
Opening up about the project, Siddharth said, “It’s a story that needs to be told, given the present political dynamics in the country. Of course, the action will be big but like Steven Spielberg once said, ‘if it’s action without emotions the audience watches dispassionately’. So, the emotions need to be in sync with the action,”
Reports suggest that the film’s leading lady will also be locked by the end of this month. We only have to wait and see which actress comes on-board for the project, reports fim fare.
