Tigers back home: Mashrafe thanks people for support

The Bangladesh national cricket team returned home today (Sunday) after their heroic performance in the ICC Cricket World Cup campaign.
The Bangladesh contingent touched down at the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 7:50 pm.
A large group of cricket fans waited for their heroes to welcome them. Directors of Bangladesh Cricket Board greeted the Tigers at the airport.
Mashrafe bin Murtaza told journalists that members of the team played their best games at the current world cup and thanked the people for their love for and support to the team. He said before leaving for Australia he said the target would be play at semi-final which was achieved.Responding to a question he however said that his team would have won had the decisions in the match come Bangladesh way that day.
Bangladesh, which reached the knock out stage from the first time in its World Cup history, made exit from the losing to India following a controversial umpiring.
Although Bangladesh have not won the 2015 World Cup trophy but their heroic performance won the millions of hearts at home.
Pakistan are scheduled to arrive in mid-April. After the home series against Pakistan South Africa will be arriving in July. – News Desk
