District administration disbursed financial grant of Taka 2.05 lakh to the close relatives of the deceased and 25 burn victims on Saturday to help burial and provide treatment cost primarily.
The relatives of the 4 deceased families got Taka 20,000 each and the 25 burn victims received Taka 5,000 each.Deputy Commissioner M. Ehsan-e-Elahi formally distributed the financial grant to them.The names of the deceased and the burn victims were also sent to the Prime Minister office on emergency basis to get financial grant from there, sources said.It may be mentioned here that at least seven persons including two children were burnt to death and 25 burnt in a petrol bomb attack to the passenger bus at Tulshighat area of Sadar upazila on Friday night around 11.30 pm.BSS, Gaibandha
