Dhaka -Members of Coast Guard Bangladesh in a drive seized around 60 lakh metres illegal current nets from different shops and warehouses in Chalkbazar area of the district town on Saturday evening.Tipped off, a team of the coast guard conducted drives in the area and seized the nets worth Tk 21 crore, said a press release.However, they could not arrest anyone in connection with the seizure.A mobile court led by executive magistrates Ruhul Amin and Palash Kumar sealed off the shops and warehouses.UNB news agency
