The Expatriate Welfare Bank has so far provided around Tk 21 crore as ‘migration loan’ to the persons who are willing to go abroad, Finance Minister AMA Muhith told Parliament on Wednesday. A total of 2,160 people have availed of the loan support from the bank since its inception in July 31, 2013, he said, responding to a tabled question of Mahmud-us-Samad Chowdhury (Sylhet-3). – UNB
