Train derailment halts Dhaka-Ctg-Sylhet rail services

Train movement on the Dhaka-Chittagong and Chittagong-Sylhet routes has remained suspended as a compartment of a train veered off the tracks at Harimangal in Sadar upazila on Saturday.
Hamidul Haque, assistant deputy engineer, Railway of Comilla said a compartment of Chittagong-bound ‘Jalalabad Express’ train from Sylhet went off the tracks at Harimangal around 10:30am, halting train services on the two rail routes. However, there was no report of any causality.On information, a rescue team from Akhaura rail station is on way to the spot to salvage the compartment.Meanwhile, Chittagong-bound ‘Mohanagar Provati’ from Dhaka has got
