Dhaka – A physician was crushed to death by a train at Amtali level crossing of Mohakhali in the city on Tuesday.The victim was identified as Dr Md Iftekhar Quashem, 53, a resident of house-260 of Road-4 at Mohammodia Housing in Adabar of the city.Assistant sub-inspector Imdadul Hoque of Kamalapur Railway Police Station said Dr Iftekhar was hit by the speedy train around 11:30 am while walking along the rail tracks, leaving him dead on the spot.The body was sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy.UNB
