Dhaka – A college girl reportedly committed suicide by hanging herself at Hossainpur in Sirajganj town on Tuesday.Helal Uddin, officer-in-charge of Sadar Police Station, said Nilima Khatun, 22, a 2nd year Honours student of Tarash Degree College, hailing from Chatmohar upazila in Pabna district, used to live at a rented house at Hossainpur.Getting no response from Nilima, other inmates of the building peeped through a window of the room only to see her hanging from a ceiling fan, he said.On information, police recovered the body around 1:30 pm and sent it to Sirajganj General Hospital morgue for autopsy.UNB
