Training for assistant editors in Rangpur

A two-day skill-development training course of the assistant editors
and journalists of different newspapers and electronic media began
Tuesday at Circuit House auditorium in the city.
Bangladesh Press Institute (PIB) has been organising the training
course being participated by 45 assistant editors and media workers
from both print and electronic media.
Deputy Commissioner of Rangpur Farid Ahammad addressed the inaugural
ceremony as the chief guest and launched the training course that will
conclude at the same venue tomorrow.
President of Rangpur Press Club AKM Fazlul Haque attended the ceremony
as the special guest.
Associate Professor of the Department of Mass Communication and
Journalism of Rajshahi University Dr Pradip Kumar Pandey and senior
journalist of Rangpur Mahbubul Islam conducted different sessions of
the course on the first day.
Besides, senior trainer of PIB Rafiza Rahman has been coordinating the course.
