Mymensingh, March 23 – A two-day training workshop titled ‘Antibiotic free organic broiler meat production using different medicinal plants’ was inaugurated on Friday at Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU) in Mymensingh for the farmers of different areas of Mymensingh.The workshop was inaugurated at 9.30am at the conference room of Animal Husbandry Faculty.
The training was organized by the Department of Poultry Science Department, funded by the Ministry of Education.
BAU Pro Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Md Jasimuddin Khan attended the inaugural workshop as a chief guest with dean of Animal Husbandry Faculty Prof Dr Md Ashraf Ali, Students Affairs adviser Prof Dr S D Chowdhury as a special guest while Prof Dr Ilias Hossain of Poultry Science department presided over the program.
In this workshop, 30 farmers of different areas of Mymensingh will be trained. – BAU Correspondent
