Based on a tip-off,police arrested truck driver Sumon, 27, from Savar and his assistant Rumman, 16,from the Khajurbagan area of Ashulia, in separate drives on Saturday.Police have arrested the truck driver responsible for the injury of popular television actor Ahona Rahman.
Based on a tip-off,police arrested truck driver Sumon, 27, from Savar and his assistant Rumman, 16,from the Khajurbagan area of Ashulia, in separate drives on Saturday.
Uttara West police station Sub-Inspector (SI) and Investigative Officer Humayun confirmed the matter and said, since the incident drives were conducted at different locations to arrest the accused.
On Wednesday morning, Ahona Rahman was seriously injured in a road accident following a scuffle with the driver at Uttara 7.
She was driving the car when a truck driver took a wrong turn, and hit her car.
Later that day, Ahona’s sister Liza filed a case with Uttara police station.
